"When I teach music, I am in an incredible position to watch my student's excitement
and curiosity grow. I have taught many different ages, levels, and groups but my core beliefs in teaching
have remained the same. Everyone deserves to be taught and participate in music no matter their age or ability.
When I play music, I love the way it makes me feel. I can rejoice in the sound filling up the room.
I want this for all of my students, no matter where they are in their journey,
I want to help them love music so that they can carry this lifelong passion with them forever.
Music was created to communicate emotion in ways that we normally can not. I believe that it is my
responsibility to help others learn to communicate through music."
